The Hot Springs Enduro takes place in the Northwoods Trails system located in Hot Springs National Park. This trail system houses well over 30 miles of trails ranging from beginner green trails to double black for the experts out there looking to push the limits. The AES Hot Springs Enduro is being held in conjunction with the Gudrun Mountain Bike Festival - a three-day mountain bike festival featuring dual slalom, Strider races and the Atilla the Hun XC races. New for the Hot Springs Enduro, we’ve created digital courses with detailed stage information and relevant points of interest. Please note, digital courses are meant to be a reference ahead of race day. Participants should adhere to physical course markings during competition as the margin for error for GPS can vary depending on factors like signal quality, satellite position, and environmental obstructions. REGISTration
Registration opens Friday, June 12 at 8am with participation based on a first-come, first-served basis. To create a rewarding enduro race experience, organizers reserve the right to limit overall event participation. Each participant’s entry includes:
One-day competition with 4-7 stages and 10-20 total miles of rider-designed racing with dedicated pre-race practice times the day prior to the race.
Sufficiently marked courses with maps emailed to participants the week of the event.
Lively mid-race aid stations with access to professional neutral mechanics and medical support.
Professional event timing with accuracy to the 1,000th of a second and instant results.
Complimentary post-race meal and cold beverages (21+ for adult beverages, ID required) in a family-friendly festival setting.
Awards ceremony by category with prizes awarded 5 deep.
RACE VENUE
Hot Springs, Arkansas is a historic resort city nestled in the Ouachita Mountains, globally famous for its natural, thermal water springs that average 143°F (62°C). The city is uniquely built directly around Hot Springs National Park, which is the oldest protected area in the national park system.

Arkansas Enduro Series events are rain or shine except under extreme circumstances. When possible, an official practice will be scheduled the day prior to Race Day(s). The Race Director reserves the right to adjust the schedule due to any unforeseen circumstances.

DRY CAMPING - Limited Dry Camping spots are available for purchase during event registration. Please refer to the event’s online registration service for additional details.
RESTAURANTS
In Hot Springs you can refuel with BBQ, pizza and a local micro brew, fresh catfish or some homemade taffy. Visit www.hotsprings.org/ for a few ideas. We’d break the internet if we listed them all!
PREPARE
SAFETY - This is not the time to skimp on protective equipment. Helmets are required to be worn on course during official event times, and we highly suggest a full-face helmet, knee pads, and elbow pads.
TEMPERATURE - In late September, the temperature in Eureka Springs typically ranges from 57°F to 74°F and is rarely below 45°F or above 84°F.
WATER & SNACKS - While hydration will be available at select locations on course, riders are encouraged to plan to carry at least 50-60 ounces of water and enough snacks to sustain themselves under strenuous exercise.
NICE TO HAVES - Bug spray, sunscreen, spare tubes, pump or CO2, plugs, patches and other parts.
DOGS - Dogs are allowed but are required to be on a leash at all times. No exceptions.
TRASH - If you pack it in, pack it out. We are guests. Please follow all event sustainability and recycling requests.
RACE DAY MEAL - A post-race meal will be provided to racers and volunteers on Race Days only. Redeemable meal tickets will be provided at the Registration & Timing tent. When possible, additional food trucks and other resources will be made available onsite for fans, family and friends.
WAIVER - All participants will be required to sign a waiver of liability prior to competing in the Arkansas Enduro Series.
REFUND POLICY - Arkansas Enduro Series events are rain or shine, and refunds will not be issued except under extreme circumstances. The Event Organizer reserves the right to adjust the schedule due to any unforeseen circumstances including rescheduling the event to a future date.
