2018 races and information

Red Star, Ark. / May 19-20

A qualifier for the Enduro World Series! The first race will kick off at the Buffalo Headwaters School in Red Star, Arkansas. Plan to arrive and camp Friday night for racing Saturday and Sunday. Thanks to the Buffalo Outdoor Center for coming in as lead sponsor for this event.

Trail overview: The Upper Buffalo Mountain Bike Trail offers about 40 miles of singletrack surrounding the highest point in the Ozark Mountains. This gem of a Midwest ride laces through the headwaters of the Buffalo National River on a mixture of narrow, hand-built singletrack and machine-cut flow trails. Features some of the best experiences available - stunning scenery past steep cliffs, turquoise waterfalls, abundant wildlife and old-growth hardwood forests.

Days on the bike: Riders can expect fast and fun, but also rowdy and technical. Timed descent over 5,000ft in 2 days and about 20 miles a day.

Need to know: The trails at Upper Buffalo are extremely remote. Come prepared with plenty of food, water, and gas to get back home as well as a big sense of adventure.
