We are excited to partner with the Enduro World Series to host stop number one of the EWS North American Series to Eureka Springs, Arkansas. The community, vibrant city, and diverse terrain will make for one of the most memorable enduro races in the United States.

The Eureka Springs Enduro will be a weekend of stoke and action! More fun to come in 2019 with a fresh urban stage starting at the Crescent Hotel! We’ll utilize the trails at Passion Play, the downhill trails at Lake Leatherwood, and some brand new lines created for the event, plus a downtown urban stage!

Entry Includes: 

  • Fully supported race over two days with 10-12 unique stages. 

  • The Urban stage. Truly a unique experience.

  • Pre-Race party Friday night hosted by Crescent Hotel and Fat Tire Beer.

  • Two racer meals compliments of Cycle OG.

7PM-9PM - Friday’s Pizza Dinner & Mandatory Racer Meeting happening in the Crystal ballroom of the famous Crescent Hotel. We’ll review critical course details, toss out some awesome swag, and dine in one of the most epic ballrooms in Arkansas. Fat Tire beer will be flowing! AND We’ll be debuting the new Eureka Springs, Oz Trails video! No parking allowed at the Crescent Hotel. Park at the Eureka Springs Community Center and ride over or take the shuttle.

SATURDAY RACE DAY #1

8:00-9am - Check-In and timing module pick-up @ Lake Leatherwood Base Camp

9am - MANDATORY riders meeting at base camp.

9:15am - Racing begins

Wave 1 leave Base Camp at 9:15AM - Amateur Women & Juniors

Wave 2 leave Base Camp at 9:30AM - Amateur Men

Wave 3 leave Base Camp at 10AM - Amateur Men & Experts

Wave 4 leave Base Camp at 10:30AM - Pro Women & Men

Mid Race - Light lunch/ snacks, hydration served on course. Included for racers compliments of Cycle OG. '

2-6PM Vendor Village Open at Base Camp

FINISH - Finish back at the Lake Leatherwood Basecamp. Turn-in timing module as soon as you’re finished.

4:00pm - Complimentary race meal by Cycle OG. Spectators and other non-racers just $10.

5:00pm - Mandatory Urban Stage sign up to secure your Sunday stage 1 start time.

6:00pm - Urban stage walk pre-view starting at the Crescent Hotel.Park at the Eureka Springs Community Center and ride over or take the shuttle. We’ll walk the Urban DH from top to bottom where we end at Chelsea’s for evening libations.

7-9:00pm - Meet at Chelsea’s in Downtown Eureka for Dinner and Live Music! Cover included with race entry!

SUNDAY RACE DAY #2

6:00-8:00am - Check in at Lake Leatherwood Basecamp.

7am Race Start- Shuttles will run from Lake Leatherwood to the Crescent. You’re welcome to drive or ride to the Crescent on your own. Keep in mind there is no parking allowed at the Crescent unless you are a guest. Your shuttle time is based on your start time.

Wave 1 leave Base Camp at 7AM - Amateur Women & Juniors

Wave 2 leave Base Camp at 7:30AM - Amateur Men

Wave 3 leave Base Camp at 8AM - Amateur Men & Experts

Wave 4 leave Base Camp at 8:30AM - Pro Women & Men

7:30am-10:00am - The Urban Stage starting at the Crescent hotel will be full enduro. Steep, technical staircase descents, big drops and some high speed action. There will be A-lines (faster but more technical) and B-lines (slower but roll-able). Use extreme caution and ride within your limits.

Mid Race - Light lunch/ snacks, hydration served on course. Included for racers compliments of Cycle OG. 

Finish back at Basecamp for the awards ceremony food and hydration.

Race Day 1 (Saturday) will be on the downhill trails at Lake Leatherwood.

Race Day 2 (Sunday) is going down on the sweet trails of Passion Play which is on the other side of Eureka.

Lodging

Camping at Base Camp is $10/night payable at the marina office. 

Hotel - Stay at the historic Crescent Hotel & Spa and enjoy an in town experience. This is also the start of Sunday’s urban downhill!

Wanderoo - Mountain bike friendly, centrally located between Leatherwood and Passion Play. Affordable rooms!

INFORMATION

MEDICAL PLAN: During race day we will have EMT's and MTB Patrol on site. For practice, play it smart and use good judgment. Scout trails and use your pre-ride day to look at drops and A/B options. Call 911 if there is an emergency.

You MUST HAVE your emergency contCHECK IN: You must check in and have a number plate on your bike for pre-ride. At check-in, you will get a wrist band that gets you on the shuttle and into the Saturday night party at Chelsea's downtown. 

TIMING CHIP: Pickup timing chips Friday. Saturday morning you must turn the chip on, after racing, clear it, turn it off, and have it turned back on Sunday morning. Turn it in immediately after completing the race on Sunday. All lost chips will incur a $100 fee. 

CHECK IN: You must check in and have a number plate on your bike for pre-ride. At check-in, you will get a wrist band that gets you on the shuttle and into the Saturday night party at Chelsea's downtown. 

WAVES: Waves will go off at the start of each day in 30-minute increments. It is VERY IMPORTANT that you are on time for your shuttle wave each day. Once you start in that wave, you may ride in any order throughout your day. Stages must be done in NUMERICAL ORDER.

REMINDER: 

Parking is at the Eureka Springs Community Center both Friday and Saturday night!

Friday's mandatory meeting will debut the brand new Eureka Springs Trails video at the Crystal Ballroom at 7:00 pm. Pizza and beverages, including Fat Tire, are available for purchase. Park at the Community Center and ride your bike over (1 mile) or catch the shuttle to/from until 9:30 pm.

Saturday's Urban stage walk will also start at the Crescent. Park at the Community Center and ride your bike over or catch the shuttle drop off. Then after you make your way down the Urban Stage. Head over to Chelsea's for grub, beer, and live tunes. Your Orange wristband saves you the $10 cover! Shuttles will run from downtown to the community center until 10 pm. Then you're on your own to get back up to the Community Center.

FULL FACE AND KNEE PADS MANDATORY

Full face and knee pads are mandatory at this event. No exceptions. We highly suggest elbow pads as well. Phat Tire and Mojo Cycling have full faces in stock. Mojo is offering registered riders 10% off a full face and knee pads. Phat Tire will also have full faces for sale on site. Riding within your limit is essential.
